Webinar: Black Maternal Health Webinar #Day43

January 27, 2022 | 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM EST

Join us as we spark a conversation on #Day43. Black women are three times more likely to die from a pregnancy-related cause than their White counterparts. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Foundation, roughly 20% of pregnancy-associated deaths happen between 43 days and one year postpartum. This percentage is further exacerbated when disaggregated by race for Black mothers.
This conversation will seek to:

  • Discuss the prevention of #Day43

  • General awareness of pregnancy & postpartum

  • Pregnancy advocacy

  • Share local resources & personal stories to support all women, birthing people, and their babies

Please note: This webinar will be recorded and broadcast on Facebook Live
